Core Cleaning Ontario

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.

Cancelling before you have approved a quote costs nothing and takes one message. Once a visit is scheduled, come to us as early as you can, and the notice we ask for is confirmed with you at the time.

Last updated 13 October 2026

Placeholder: awaiting approval

This policy is a working draft. The points below have not been set yet and will be added here once Core Cleaning Ontario approves them. Until then, nothing on this page should be read as covering them.

  • [To be confirmed] The notice period for cancelling or rescheduling a scheduled visit.
  • [To be confirmed] Whether any fee applies to a late cancellation, a late reschedule or a visit where nobody can get in.
  • [To be confirmed] How recurring schedules are paused or ended.

Two different things get cancelled

This page covers both, because they work differently and people reasonably expect one answer.

  • A request or a quote you have not approved. Free to drop at any point, for any reason, with nothing owed.
  • A visit we have already scheduled for you. Tell us as early as you can, because there is a day set aside and a service partner travelling to it.

The dividing line is the moment you approve our quote. Before it, nothing is booked and nothing is owed. After it, there is a visit in a diary and somebody planning their week around it.

Before you approve a quote

Ask for a price, change your mind, and that is the end of it. Asking books nothing and charges nothing, so there is nothing to unwind and you do not owe us a reason.

Email [email protected] or call (289) 204-2266 during office hours and say you would rather not go ahead. If we have already sent you a number, it lapses, and you will not hear about it again.

You can ask us to delete your details at the same time, and we will. The privacy policy sets out what we hold and how that works.

Changing or cancelling a scheduled visit

Come to us, not to the person who was going to do the cleaning. We scheduled the visit and we coordinate it, so we are the ones who can move it, and the ones who can tell you what is actually free.

Email [email protected] or call (289) 204-2266 and say what has changed. Life happens, particularly on a recurring schedule, and moving a visit is a normal conversation rather than an awkward one.

Give us as much notice as you can. A visit moved a few days out is a diary change. One moved on the morning is a day a service partner has already set aside and travelled for, and it cannot be given to anyone else.

The notice we ask for is confirmed with you when the visit is scheduled, in writing, along with anything that goes with it. This page publishes no notice period and no charge, because none has been set, and we would rather tell you the terms for your visit than print a number that turns out not to be ours.

If you have not been told them, ask us and we will put them in writing.

Recurring schedules

Skipping a visit and ending the arrangement are different things, and it is worth being clear which one you mean.

  • Skipping one visit: tell us as far ahead as you can. A week that does not suit is normal and nothing about the schedule changes.
  • Pausing for a while: same message, and say roughly when you expect to start again, so the slot is not quietly given away.
  • Ending it: tell us and it stops. You do not have to justify it, and we would rather know than keep asking how it is going.

If we have to move a visit

It happens. Illness, a van that will not start, a job before yours that ran long. If the service partner cannot make your visit, you hear it from us, as early as we know it.

We will look for another partner who can take the work, or another day that suits you, and we will tell you which of the two it is. What we will not do is promise a replacement on the same day, because whether anyone is free is not something we can decide, and we are not going to say otherwise to make the moment easier.

A service partner who drops visits, or who does it without telling anyone, stops receiving our work. That is our leverage and we do use it.

What asking costs you

Asking Core Cleaning Ontario for a price costs nothing, at any stage. Not the request, not the quote, not a second quote when the first one is more than you wanted to spend, and not changing your mind after you have seen the number. No is a complete answer.

Nothing is paid through this website. There are no card details to give here, no deposit taken on the form and no checkout at the end of it.

The price for the work is agreed with us in writing before a visit is scheduled, and it is settled with us. The service partner is paid by us, not by you. If anyone asks you to hand over money at the door for a clean we arranged, that is not how this works, and we would like to know about it.

What this page does not tell you

There is no notice period in hours here, no late-cancellation fee, no minimum charge and nothing about what happens if nobody is home. None of it has been set, and a policy that borrows those numbers from another company's page is a policy that will be wrong the first time somebody relies on it.

What you get instead is the terms for your own visit, told to you in writing when it is scheduled. When we set a standard, this page will say so before it applies to anyone, not after.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version is the one that applies.
