Refund and Re-clean Policy.
Nothing is bought or paid for on this website, so at this stage there is nothing to refund. What this page is really about is a task that was missed or a clean that was not right, and how a concern is handled.

Placeholder: awaiting approval
This policy is a working draft. The points below have not been set yet and will be added here once Core Cleaning Ontario approves them. Until then, nothing on this page should be read as covering them.
- [To be confirmed] The time window for reporting a missed task after a visit.
- [To be confirmed] Which concerns qualify for a return visit at no additional charge, and which for an adjustment instead.
- [To be confirmed] What the service partner is required to do when a return visit is arranged.
- [To be confirmed] Refunds and adjustments once payment is introduced, and how a changed price is approved.
Nothing is paid on this website
There is no checkout here, no deposit, no card on file and no payment page. The form produces a quote request and nothing else.
Which means that at the point this website is involved, Core Cleaning Ontario is holding none of your money. Asking for a quote costs nothing. If you read the number and decide against it, there is nothing to refund, because nothing was ever taken.
That is why this page is shorter than most refund policies. They are mostly about money a company already has, and at this stage we do not have any of yours.
When money enters it
It starts after you approve a quote. We read the request, work out what the property needs, and put the price in front of you in writing. Nothing is scheduled until you have said yes to that number.
From there the job is settled with Core Cleaning Ontario directly, away from this website, on what was agreed with you at the time. This site sets no payment terms and publishes none.
If anyone asks you to pay through a link on this site, or asks for money on our behalf that you were not expecting, it is not us, and we would like to hear about it.
If a task was missed, or a clean was not done or not right
If something is not right, tell us. The arrangement is with Core Cleaning Ontario, so putting it right is ours to sort out, and a service partner who leaves it unresolved stops getting our work.
Every work order includes the agreed cleaning scope. We do not inspect every home after each visit, so if a task in that scope was missed, telling us is what starts it. We take it up with the service partner who did the work. You do not have to chase them yourself, and you do not have to establish whose fault it was before anyone will listen. That part is ours.
We review every concern and agree with you how it is put right. The re-clean policy itself (when a return visit applies, how soon a concern must be reported, and what is covered) is still being set, and will be published on this page before it applies.
The terms of use set out the shape of the arrangement behind all of this: you deal with us, and a local service partner carries out the clean.
Telling us, and how quickly
As soon as you can, and tell us the room. “The oven and the inside of the ensuite window” is something a service partner can go back and put right. “Disappointing” is not, and it makes for a slower week for everyone.
Use the feedback page, email [email protected], or call (289) 204-2266 during office hours. Photographs help, and are worth taking before the room is used again.
We do not publish a deadline. None has been set, and inventing one would only be a way of turning people away at the door. Sooner is genuinely better all the same: a room that has been lived in for two weeks is a harder thing for anyone to read.
What this policy does not cover
A re-clean puts right what the clean should have done. It is not repair, replacement or renovation, and some of what people ask about was not ours to change in the first place.
- Marks, damage and wear that were there before the visit. An old stain in a carpet, a scratched countertop, a cracked tile behind the tap.
- Rooms, items and surfaces you asked to have left alone. A study nobody was to go into stays as it was, and that is the instruction working rather than failing.
- Anything outside the agreed scope on the work order. If it was not in what you approved, it was not priced and nobody was there to do it.
- Wear that a clean will not shift. Limescale that has bitten into a finish, grout stained through, a surface that has gone dull for good.
Something broken during a visit is a different question from a clean that was not right, and it should reach us straight away. We take it up with the service partner. What happens after that depends on what cover, if any, that partner carries, and this site makes no claim about what any of them carry.
None of the above is us refusing to look. Tell us anyway. Some of it we will not be able to fix, and we will say so plainly, which is worth more than two weeks of email.
What this policy does not put a number on
There is no percentage on this page, no fixed number of days, and no table of what a given fault is worth. None of that has been agreed, and publishing a figure nobody has set would be a promise we could not keep.
A remedy is worked out on the job in front of us, with you, in writing. If that ever hardens into a published rule, it will be published here.
Changing your mind, and cancelling
Withdrawing a request before you have approved a quote costs nothing and takes one message. Moving or cancelling a visit that is already scheduled is its own conversation, and the cancellation policy covers both.
Nothing on this page charges you for changing your mind.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version is the one that applies.
