Cleaning questions, answered plainly.

A cleaning service across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton, Guelph. You send one request, we read it and quote it, and once you have approved the price a local service partner carries out the clean. One point of contact from the first message to the follow-up afterwards.

No, and we do not claim to. Core Cleaning Ontario employs no cleaners. What we do is read your request, work out what the job actually needs, quote it, confirm the final price with you and coordinate the visit; a local service partner does the cleaning. You deal with us throughout: the quote, the date, a change of plan, and anything that needs putting right.

On three things: whether they cover your area, whether they do the kind of clean you have asked for, and whether they are free on the date we have agreed with you. If nobody fits all three, we tell you that rather than send the work somewhere it does not belong.

Yes. Name them on the form or on the phone. If they are one of the partners we work with, we will ask whether they cover you and whether they have room on your date. If they are not, we will say so, and you can decide from there.

Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton, Guelph, and the communities immediately around them, from a base in Waterloo Region, Ontario. Not all of Ontario. What matters more than the map is whether we have a service partner free where you are on the day you want, and that network is still being built out. Milton and parts of Waterloo Region are where we are recruiting now. Send the request either way and we will tell you plainly what we can cover.

Standard, recurring and deep cleaning, and move-in and move-out cleaning, are the ones most households ask for. Airbnb and short-term rental turnovers, and commercial and office work, go through the same request. Add-ons like the oven, the fridge and the interior windows are ticked on top of any of them and quoted with the job.

No. Products, cloths and the vacuum come from the service partner who carries out the clean. If you would rather they used eco-friendly or fragrance-free products, or your own, say so on the form: it goes into the quote and onto the work order, so it is settled before anyone arrives.

It depends on the service, and the tasks included are confirmed with you in writing before the appointment. A standard clean covers the kitchen, the bathrooms, dusting, the floors, beds and bins. A deep clean adds grout, tracks, baseboards, vents and behind movable furniture. Move-in and move-out cleans add the insides of cabinets and appliances. The full room-by-room list is the Core Cleaning Ontario Standard.

No. Keys, codes and lockboxes are ordinary in this trade. Access is agreed with you before the first visit and goes on the work order, so nobody turns up unable to get in. Say on the form how yours works and it goes across with the rest of the request. A good deal of this work happens in properties nobody is living in, between tenants or between guests.

Recurring work stays with the same service partner wherever we can, rather than going out again to whoever is free that week. Nobody has to learn your house twice, and your preferences travel with every visit. Which of their cleaners comes is the partner's call rather than ours, so we will not promise you a named person. The arrangement, your preferences and the record of it all stay in one place.

Contact us and tell us the room and the task, the same day if you can. We do not inspect every home after each visit, so your message is what starts it. If the task was in your agreed scope, we review the concern and follow it up with the service partner; the arrangement is with Core Cleaning Ontario, so it is ours to sort out rather than something you take up with a stranger. The refund and re-clean policy sets out how a concern is handled.

Yes, that is exactly what the turnover service is built around. Give us the check-out and check-in times with the request. The window goes into the quote and onto the work order, and we assign a service partner who can work inside it. Same-day changeovers are the normal case in this trade, not the exception.

Nothing unusual, and worth putting on the form so we have it before we quote rather than after. Heavy pet hair is real extra time, so it belongs in the number rather than being raised on the day. Say where the animals will be during the visit and whether anything should be left alone, and it goes onto the work order.

Come to us. The arrangement is with Core Cleaning Ontario, so we move it and we tell the service partner. You are not left chasing anyone. Life happens, particularly on a recurring schedule, and moving a visit is a normal conversation rather than an awkward one. Cancelling before you have approved a quote costs nothing and takes one message; the cancellation policy sets out the notice we ask for once a visit is in the calendar.
